Name your Warcraft guild.
Guild names written for how your guild plays, from raid teams to roleplay houses, each one checked against the game's rules and for what it shortens to in chat. We can't see which names a realm already has: only the game can tell you that.
FAQ
What does this system check?
Every name is held to the rules players report the game enforcing:
- 2 to 24 characters counting the spaces, letters and single spaces only: no digits, apostrophes or hyphens.
- No profanity, even with the spaces taken out, and nothing that poses as Blizzard staff.
- Initials that don't spell anything rude, since chat calls a guild by them.
Blizzard doesn't publish its guild naming rules and its filter is private, so a pass means no known rule stops the name, not that the game will take it.
Can it tell if a guild name is taken?
No. A guild name only has to be free on its realm, and only the game knows which ones are. Bring a shortlist and try them in order.
Can my guild vote on the name?
Yes. Opened from your guild here, every name can go on the guild's ballot, and members add their own too. Each member ranks a top three, worth 3, 2 and 1 points, and the leader renames the guild to the winner. The guild's code and link never change. Your guilds
Does it matter which version of WoW?
As far as players report, guild names follow the same rules in every version, so these names work in the current game, Classic or Forever. Naming a character for Forever? Name your hero
What does it cost?
Guild naming comes with a character pack or a paid plan. Each round of guild names then uses one run, like any other round in Ideate.
